Front patio consisting of Bar Area, Dining Table, Gas Braai, Lounge Area, Lounger Chairs and Dart board
A Cleaner and Househand are available 5 days / week from 7:30 - 15:30.
Bedding and mosquito nets are included - please bring your own beach and bath towels. There is 1 x Fan in each room. NO mobile-aircons allowed.
Two local supermarkets, a pharmacy and several bottle-stores are within 15km of Lugar do Coco.
NO WOOD / CHARCOAL FIRES
You can reach Lugar do Coco by car or by air - roughly 30mins from the closest airport (INH).
Activities & Access
The Barra coastline area is home to an abundance of great restaurants with fantastic food and fabulous cocktails, mocktails, beers and local fruit juices. There is such a wide variety of dishes to enjoy - pizzas, burgers and the signature seafood dishes and the local favourite - Peri-Peri Chicken! Fresh fruit, fish and breads can be arranged to be delivered to the house, daily.
The extensive white beaches call to the wanderers amongst us, to enjoy long peaceful walks at sunrise or sunset.
The lapping waters of the lagoon are home to several unique creatures - the pansy shell, sea-horses and a 'creche' of young sea life - and by taking a dhow trip on the lagoon with a local skipper and his crew, you just might be lucky enough to see some of this sea life!
There are several scuba-diving schools in the area that offer training, snorkeling and deep-sea 'safaris'. It is also a fisherman's haven - from the rocks at the foot of the lighthouse or with one of the several deep-sea fishing charters in the area.
A day's outing can be made of a visit to the historical town of Inhambane or to Tofo Beach.
Try a new hobby - snorkeling or scuba-diving!
Enjoy a long, lazy day on the beach and in the water!
